Renovation project management in San Diego

Kitchen and bath remodels, whole-home renovations, and ADU builds across San Diego — managed by an independent owner's representative who works for you, not the contractor.

Renovating in San Diego

San Diego renovation costs run well above national averages — which makes unmanaged projects proportionally more expensive when they slip. The city's older neighborhoods (North Park, Normal Heights, Point Loma, Clairemont) combine charming mid-century bones with the permits, upgrades, and surprises that come with them. Permitting runs through the City's Development Services Department, where an incomplete submission can cost you months.

And San Diego is one of California's most ADU-friendly cities — granny flats and backyard rentals are booming from City Heights to Encanto. Most ADU builders are first-time builders; my ADU project management exists so your first build runs like a hundredth.

How I work across the county

Based in Chula Vista, I take projects throughout central and south San Diego — close enough for weekly walkthroughs, which is where problems get caught while they're still cheap. I gather and level bids from contractors I've vetted, control the payment schedule, and keep your project documented from first bid to final lien release.

Much of San Diego's construction workforce operates in Spanish. Twenty years of supervising those crews in their language means your instructions arrive intact — and their questions reach you instead of getting guessed at.
